We are currently recruiting for a Relief Cook Manager to join our team based at the Mount Charles Group. This is a great opportunity to join a world leading facilities management company.
Working Pattern: 40 hours per week, 5 in 7 days various shifts and sites

The Role:
- You are a Relief Cook Manager that can produce great-tasting food, challenge standards, ensure quality and consistency to company and brand specifications.
- Ensuring the food service achieves maximum efficiency, achieving a high standard of customer satisfaction at all times.
- Ensuring all bookwork is completed within company requirements.
- Ensuring all HACCP, Food Safety, and Health & Safety Legislation requirements are adhered to.
- Ensure the service counter is prepped.
- Ensure the team are providing the highest level of customer service.
- Completing any administration requested.
- Complete bookwork procedures in line with company requirements; in particular purchasing, cash handling, banking and management of the weekly estimated trading account (ETA).
- Report defective equipment/utensils/work and floor surfaces etc.
- Ensure the opening and closing of all food outlets are carried out in accordance with Company procedures.
The Person:
- Experience in preparing hot and cold meals, snacks, bakery, and sweets.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, deal with issues as they arise, and contribute to all areas of managing a kitchen and providing great food service.
- Food Hygiene Level 3 qualified.
- Promote and contribute to a harmonious working environment where all employees are treated with respect and dignity.
- Ensure a safe environment is maintained in compliance with health, safety, fire, hygiene, and security legislation and company policies and procedures.
- Basic statutory training for the role will require all candidates to have basic reading, writing, speaking and listening skills to assist in understanding safety and work instructions and communicating with customers on a day-to-day basis.
- Proficient skills in computer literacy.
