Working Pattern
- 28 hours per week
- Week 1: 3 days – 9:00 am to 5:30 pm
- Week 2: 4 days – 9:00 am to 5:30 pm
- Monday‑Friday
- Every other weekend off

The Role
- Prepare and cook all food to an exceptional standard, ensuring HACCP regulations are adhered to
- Pre‑prepare service counters in readiness for service
- Provide the highest level of customer service consistently to all facility users
- Work as part of the team to deliver service on time and to the highest standard
- Complete any administrative tasks requested, including recording food temperatures, updating cleaning schedules, cashing up tills and recording daily sales figures on the system
- Perform book‑keeping procedures in line with company requirements, notably purchasing, cash handling, banking and management of the weekly estimated trading account (ETA)
- Report defective equipment, utensils, surfaces or flooring to the relevant head‑office department
- Ensure opening and closing of all food outlets are carried out in accordance with company procedures
The Person
- Previous culinary experience
- Demonstrable knowledge of HACCP
- Previous management experience
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work successfully as part of a team or independently
Desirable Criteria
- Previous experience working in a contract catering environment
- NVQ Level 2 or 3, or City & Guilds 706 / 1 & 2 or above
