We are currently recruiting for a Catering Assistantto join our team based at Moy Park, Dungannon. This isa great opportunityto join a world leading facilities management company.
Working Pattern
- 37.5 hours per week
- Monday to Friday
- 4pm to Midnight

The Role
- Assist in the preparation, service and sales of all food and beverages for the unit
- Preparation of service counter (including placing food and beverages in appropriate containers and correct utensils are available)
- Provide the highest level of customer service in a consistent approach to anyone who uses the facility
- Work as part of the team to ensure service is delivered on time and an to a consistently high standard
- Carry out all cleaning duties as per instruction from line manager or per unit cleaning rota
- Carry out cooking duties if necessary
- Ensure kitchen and service areas (including customer tables and chairs) are always clean and tidy and assist with waste removal.
- Clear and wash dishes in the dining area as required
- Deliver hospitality orders to meeting rooms
- Clear rooms of any trays, flasks, crockery etc. following the provision of hospitality (if applicable)
- Be responsible for cash handling duties under your control
The Person
- Previous culinary experience
- Previous experience working in a busy kitchen
- Demonstratable knowledge of HACCP
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- The ability to work successfully as part of a team or individually
- Previous experience working in a contract catering environment
- NVQ level 2&3 or City & Guilds 706/ 1&2 or above
- Basic statutory training for the role will require all candidates to have basic reading, writing, speaking and listening skills to assist in understanding safety and work, instructions and communicating with customer on a day-today basis.
