The Registered Nurse Specialty positions are responsible for care in an atmosphere sensitive to each person's physical, emotional, social and spiritual needs within the scope of the Ohio Nurse Practice Act. The Registered Nurse functioning in the spirit of teamwork is accountable for the delivery of patient care utilizing the Nursing Process within the standards, procedures and guidelines of the Organization.

Location: 85 McNaughten Road, Suite 200, Columbus, Ohio 43213

Hours of office: Monday through Friday 8:00am – 4:30pm

What You Will Do:

  • Performs as liaison between Cardiology physicians, nurses, patients, families and other treating disciplines.
  • Educates and instructs patients/families on continuity of care, procedures and/or medications.
  • Provide clinical in-basket oversight and coverage via Epic.
  • Complete prior authorizations, FMLA and disability paperwork.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • Licensure / Certification: In good standing with a current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio
  • Experience: Two years RN experience required; one year experience in a medical office or in Cardiology Specialty preferred

Demonstrates the ability to plan, organize and manage patient care, including delegation to and supervision of other members of the patient care team.
