We’re looking for a seasoned and driven Technical Manager to lead the design team on the regeneration of Bacton Estate Phase 2. A flagship scheme based in the heart of North London, this project will deliver 460 new homes once completed, along with communal areas, gym, and 24hr concierge.
Starting on site in Summer 2027, this is a unique opportunity for someone to lead the design on a landmark project right from the very beginning, taking it through Gateway 2 submission, appointing the team and managing the design team through the build process.
You’ll have experience in leading and managing all design elements of a large RC frame residential project from start to finish, and have been involved in RIBA Stages 3-6. You will be key in appointing a principal designer, appointing design consultants, whilst coordinating with our commercial team, recruiting a technical team, chairing design team meetings, and leading the design team through our Gateway 2 submission in July 2027.
Ours is a high-performance culture. High performance in this role is having excellent attention to detail, demonstrating precision in applying technical requirements and taking pride in your work. You’ll ensure that robust QA procedures are in place. Highly motivated and proactive, you will drive the design process while leading and supporting your teammates to achieve shared goals. You will have a proven track record of successfully delivering schemes on site to achieve CMLs.
This is a culture where you’ll be giving and getting feedback from day one, because we think it’s the fastest way to learn and to build trust. We want to be challenged by you, too – we hate unnecessary hierarchy and “my way or the highway” has no place here. So, if you’re interested in working on a new flagship scheme apply now!
