We\βre looking for a seasoned and driven Technical Manager
to lead the design team on the regeneration of Bacton Estate Phase 2, a north London flagship scheme close to quaint Hampstead Heath and Gospel Oak underground. It\βs currently in preconstruction, meaning this is a great opportunity to lead from the very beginning, go through Gateway 2 and deliver 460 new homes plus beautiful communal areas and fitness amenities (part of our landmark partnership with Peloton).
You\βll have experience in
leading and managing all design elements of a large RC frame residential project from start to finish and have been involved in RIBA Stages 3-6. You\βll be key in appointing a principal designer and the consultants, coordinating with our commercial team, recruiting a technical team, chairing design team meetings, leading the gateway 2 submission, putting robust QA in place β all the way through to delivery.
Ours is a high-performance culture. High performance in this role is
having excellent attention to detail, demonstrating precision in applying technical requirements and taking pride in your work. Getting the perfect drawings approved and ready on time and driving world class collaboration within the delivery and commercial teams to make sure that design delivers on budget and programme. You\βll also be managing consultants making sure invoices and variations have the I\βs dotted and the T\βs crossed, producing regular reports that keep things moving efficiently. You will look to the future as well as keep the day-to-day ticking, identifying future risks and mitigating them by working collaboratively with your teammates across various functions.
This is a culture where you\βll be giving and getting feedback from day one, because we think it\βs the fastest way to learn and to build trust. We want to be challenged by you, too β we hate unnecessary hierarchy and \\\βmy way or the highway\\\β has no place here.
So, if you\βre interested in working on a new flagship scheme apply now
