Overview
We\\\’re looking for a super organised Project Support Controller to join us working on two schemes in Royal Eden Dock and Canary Wharf. Someone who\\\’s worked as a Document Controller with site admin experience for at least two years and is familiar with the document management systems (Asite) could thrive here.
We\\\’re a high-performance culture. High performance in this role means managing and reviewing all project design documents to keep quality at a high level. You\\\’ll be the go-to person for all things Asite-related, delivering Asite training to new users (staff and contractors) as well as managing, uploading, and tracking company documents and reporting on progress. To get this all shipshape you\\\’ll be very hands-on and able to juggle lots of tasks.
You\\\’ll also manage the site\\\’s administration, like processing and receiving site orders, preparing, and submitting expenses and other ad-hoc tasks as and when needed. The role is split between 80% document control and 20% site admin. To be the right fit for this role you don\\\’t need any particular qualifications, but good IT and organisation skills are a must. And to be a great collaborator within the Technical team you\\\’ll be a confident communicator, willing to pick up the phone, ask questions and get curious.
This is a culture where feedback flows both ways from day one. We want to be challenged by you too—hierarchy is low and \\\”my way or the highway\\\” doesn\\\’t fly here. This role is 4 days in the office and one day working from home, your main base will be our Royal Eden Docks project and 1 day a week at our project in Canary Wharf. Ready to make an impact? Apply today!
Responsibilities
- Manage and review all project design documents to maintain high quality.
- Be the go-to person for Asite-related activities, delivering Asite training to new users (staff and contractors).
- Manage, upload, track, and report on company documents.
- Be hands-on and juggle multiple tasks to keep project documentation shipshape.
- Manage site administration, including processing/receiving site orders and submitting expenses; handle other ad-hoc tasks as needed.
- Operate with an 80% focus on document control and 20% on site admin; collaborate with the Technical team and communicate effectively.
- Follow the stated in-office/remote work pattern (4 days in office, 1 day home) with primary bases at Royal Eden Docks and Canary Wharf projects.
Qualifications
- No specific qualifications required, but strong IT and organisational skills are essential.
- Experience as a Document Controller with site administration exposure (minimum ~2 years).
- Familiar with document management systems, particularly Asite.
- Confident communicator; willing to pick up the phone, ask questions, and be curious.
- Team player who thrives in a high-performance, feedback-rich culture.
- Flexible to work across two sites with the described office/remote arrangement.
About Mount Anvil
What we do: We\\\’ve worked in partnership for 31 years to create outstanding places in London. We\\\’re growing, with our construction turnover doubling, and with a pipeline of new projects where we\\\’re raring to get started and make a difference.
Why we\\\’re here: We\\\’re here to pursue better, differently.
Better: One of The Sunday Times\\\’ \\\”100 Best Small Companies to Work For\\\” for over a decade, winner of multiple Pride In The Job and WhatHouse awards for our people and the quality of our homes, and proud to have the nation\\\’s best site in our ranks (winning the highest possible marks across the Considerate Constructors Scheme\\\’s five areas – the first site ever to do so in 22 years of the CCS).
Differently: Our culture is unusual. Different means more transparent with information. More direct with feedback that helps us all grow. More rigorous about setting goals, then giving more freedom to go and achieve them. It\\\’s definitely not for everyone. We don\\\’t hire know-it-alls, we hire \\\”learn-it-alls\\\”. As our CEO, Killian, says: \\\”We work hard to find people who thrive on context and responsibility, rather than rules and procedures. We then work like owner managers, not a leader and a load of helpers.\\\”
Benefits
- Private medical insurance for you and your family through Vitality (including discounts on spa breaks, cinema tickets and your food shopping, free Starbucks, 50% off Virgin Active Membership and more).
- Income Protection Insurance; Life Assurance equivalent to four times your salary; annual leave & Bank Holidays; enhanced maternity/paternity leave; and workplace nursery salary sacrifice, allowing you to save tax and NI on monthly nursery fees.
We think the best benefit of being here is the learning culture and the ability to make a real difference. We dislike hierarchy and politics, and \”+not my job\” isn\\\’t in our vernacular. If you care about raising the bar and really want to feel connected to the end product, this could be the place for you to grow your career.
