Moulton College is a long‑established specialist land‑based college with over 100 years of success delivering land‑based curriculum. We are exploring merger with Northampton College to strengthen the post‑16 offer for our county and local communities. This role is offered on a part‑time basis of 1 day per week with flexibility up to 3 days per week for up to 12 months.

Responsibilities

  • Protect staff engagement, morale, and organisational trust
  • Provide structured change management and merger expertise
  • Provide focused leadership and specialist capability beyond business‑as‑usual capacity
  • Lead and coordinate the change and transition agenda
  • Act as a neutral, objective partner to the Executive Leadership Team
  • Ensure project governance clarity, risk visibility, and decision readiness
  • Advocate for Moulton's interests, heritage and strengths

Qualifications

  • Experience of working in a similar role to lead or support change or significant transformation
  • Experience of culture development and driving positive staff engagement
  • Strong, demonstrable understanding of change management principles
  • Experience of working in complex organisations
  • Experience of mergers and/or organisational integration at a senior level
  • Ability to translate complex change into clear, accessible messages
  • Highly developed emotional intelligence and interpersonal sensitivity

Moulton is located in the heart of the Northamptonshire countryside covering over 450 hectares, with an additional 170 hectares rented as grazing for our livestock.
