The predicted salary is between 26712 - 29600 £ per year.

A motivated team player to join our dispatch team. You will be expected to work in a fast paced environment picking, packing, scanning, and loading vehicles using a counterbalance forklift truck.

Working hours are 07:30am to 8:00pm on a 4 on, 4 off shift pattern.

The position:

  • Arrange transport for each customer order
  • Communicate with the Packhouse to confirm product availability
  • Pick customer orders safely and accurately, including handling heavy trays
  • Use company systems and handheld scanners effectively
  • Follow correct stock rotation procedures when assembling customer orders
  • Produce pallet labels based on customer sales orders
  • Generate all required dispatch documentation
  • Scan completed pallets onto the customer's trailer
  • Perform safety checks before operating a company forklift, ensuring vehicle checks are completed on the onboard system and reporting any faults
  • Load customer orders onto the assigned vehicle
  • Complete all customer stock counts as required
  • Undertake any other reasonable duties as may be requested by your manager to ensure the overall smooth running of the business

The perfect candidate should have:

  • Valid counterbalance forklift licence
  • Valid ride on pallet truck licence
  • Team player but should also be able to work alone without supervision when required
  • Ability to carry out basic tasks on a computer or hand held device
  • Good communication and organisation skills
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required
