Job Purpose Responsible for operating and overseeing production machinery within the process area, ensuring efficient production, product quality, and compliance with hygiene, health and safety, and food safety standards. Main duties and responsibilities * Operate all machinery safely within health and safety guidelines * Carry out and record pre-starter checks * Ensure all staff working in the area follow the procedures in place for hygiene, health and safety and production related matters * Complete paperwork as required on production control * Ensure machines run efficiently and orders are produced on time to the correct customer specifications * Comply with and follow procedures within the quality manual for Goldwood to ensure product produced meets customer specification and also legal requirements. * Monitor raw material and flag any issues to the Factory Manager and Quality team * Ensure all machinery, work surfaces and equipment are kept clean in accordance with the company “Clean as You Go” policy. * Make sure all visitors entering the factory have followed the correct entry procedure and is suitably dressed. * Provide assistance to management to meet and maintain the requirements of the BRC standard Person Specification * Previous experience of operating machinery in the food Industry is essential. * Good communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels within the business and visitors/auditors. * A friendly, approachable and flexible attitude to work * Ability to follow procedures and work to deadlines Why Join Moulton Bulb Company?
