General Operative / Relief QA

We are looking for: A motivated and dedicated General Operative/QA to prepare and pack product to customer standards and support the Food Safety & Quality manager and site teams to ensure that appropriate policies, process checks & controls are maintained and upheld across the business. The Position: * Blow, trim, peel, bag and pack onions and other product as guided by your Line Manager and as per the Company Standard Operating Procedures * Ensure that the product that we pack for our customers is of the expected quality and that packaging is checked and not damaged * Provide QA cover as required across the shifts in the case of absence or holiday * Champion food safety, legality, authenticity and quality across Goldwood facility * Inspect the quality of raw material, working processes and finished product against customer specifications * Conduct regular internal audits to assess compliance with quality and safety standards * Maintain accurate records related to quality control, inspections, and audits * Support the food safety & quality manager to ensure clear, concise policies, procedures and SOP’s are provided to the QA functions * Ensure that the company required product and process testing (shelf life, swab testing, product sampling & testing) are complied with * Conduct process and hygiene inspections and checks across the site to ensure that the company policies, procedures and standards are being …
