What You’ll Be Doing
* Safely operate a counterbalance forklift to load, move, and store goods.
* Keep accurate and up-to-date records, including forklift check sheets, loading plans, and reject forms.
* Carry out basic forklift maintenance — keeping it clean, fuelled, and in top working condition.
* Make sure pallets, trays, and bins are stacked neatly, securely, and in the right place.
* Work with care to avoid damage to goods, equipment, or the workplace.
* Report any issues or incidents straight away.
* Keep your work area clean, tidy, and safe.
* Support your team with additional duties as needed.
What We’re Looking For
* A valid Counterbalance B1 Forklift licence (essential).
* Safe mounting/dismounting practices and awareness of your surroundings.
* Good balance and coordination — hand, eye, and foot.
* The ability to judge weights, heights, and distances accurately.
* Flexibility to work in different temperatures depending on the season.
