We are looking for Investigate and rectify running issues and perform planned preventative maintenance to ensure the machinery in the Packhouse runs at maximum efficiency without compromising quality and meet customer requirements and in conjunction with health and safety to meet required standards. Working hours 06.30 – 18.30, 4 days on, 4 days off The position * Work closely with the Engineer Supervisor, Packhouse Manager, Team Leaders and Line Leaders to understand, investigate and rectify running issues to ensure that we achieve maximum efficiency from our equipment. * Liaise with the Production Manager in carrying out preventative maintenance to ensure downtime is kept to a minimum for both breakdown and prevention. * Perform and organise regular planned preventative maintenance to ensure downtime due to breakdown is kept to a minimum * Work closely with the Line Leaders, Machinery Suppliers and Manufacturers to ensure that we are achieving the maximum efficiency from packing machines and production * Ensure that maintenance, servicing and general duties are carried out. * Always ensure that machinery is safe to use.
