We are looking for an Automatic machine operator to efficiently and effectively run the auto operator machines and the ultrasonic welding machines for inline packing.
Working hours: 06.15 - 18.30 on shift pattern 4 on 4 off.
Main duties and responsibilities:
- Efficiently and safely run and manage the inline packing machines.
- Raise mechanical issues in a timely manner with the line leader or engineering department to minimise downtime.
- Keep the machinery in as good a working condition as possible and operating at the optimum speed.
- Keep the machines maintained to minimize breakdowns and possible downtime.
- Report any downtime which will have an adverse effect on meeting your production targets.
- Leave the machines in good working order and clean for the next shift to start.
- Undertake any other duties as requested by your manager to meet the needs of the business.
