Responsibilities:
- Supervise classes during the short-term absence of teachers.
- Give instructions for the lesson as provided by the teacher.
- Maintain good order and keep students on task so that their learning continues.
- Remain calm under pressure and adapt quickly and effectively to changing circumstances.
Requirements:
- Experience of working with secondary aged children in an educational setting.
- Ability to work calmly and effectively as part of a school team.
- Enhanced DBS check; applicants barred from working with children are not eligible.
