We are looking to hire a Forklift Driver on our Cumbernauld Site to undertake the role of picking, dispatching goods, and palletising finished goods in a busy clean environment. We are looking for candidates who have a flexible approach and can undertake a variety of production duties. Full training will be given as well as any ongoing training that may be required at any given time.

Successful candidates would be expected to:

  • Order pick and dispatch finished goods.
  • Unload materials safely that are delivered on site.
  • Maintain product quality through inspection and quality checks to ensure customer specifications are met.
  • Ensure a high standard of housekeeping and Health & Safety is maintained at all times.
  • Exhibit good numeracy and literacy skills.
  • Demonstrate good attention to detail.
  • Help maintain good hygiene and cleanliness on equipment and around all areas on site.
  • Work collaboratively with others and show the ability to work as a team when required.
  • Undertake other tasks on site away from production.
  • Exhibit good timekeeping and willingness to work a rotational shift pattern of day/backshift and possibly nightshift if required.
  • Be flexible in being able to work overtime if required.

Shift Pattern/Schedule: Monday to Friday 8 hour shifts. Day Shift 6am - 2pm. Backshift 2pm - 10pm rotational week by week. Weekly payroll at £12.58 per hour plus a monthly attendance bonus if attained.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £26,166 - £27,366 per year

Additional pay: Bonus scheme
