We are looking to hire a Forklift Driver on our Cumbernauld Site to undertake the role of picking, dispatching goods, and palletising finished goods in a busy clean environment. We are looking for candidates who have a flexible approach and can undertake a variety of production duties. Full training will be given as well as any ongoing training that may be required.
Successful candidates would be expected to:
- Order pick and dispatch finished goods.
- Unload materials safely that are delivered on site.
- Maintain product quality through inspection and quality checks to ensure customer specifications are met.
- Ensure a high standard of housekeeping and health & safety is maintained at all times.
- Exhibit good numeracy and literacy skills.
- Demonstrate good attention to detail.
- Help maintain good hygiene and cleanliness on equipment and around all areas on site.
- Work collaboratively with others and show the ability to work as a team when required.
- Undertake other tasks on site away from production.
- Exhibit good timekeeping and willingness to work a rotational shift pattern of day/backshift and possibly nightshift if required.
- Be flexible in being able to work overtime if required.
Shift Pattern/Schedule:
- Monday to Friday 8 hour shifts.
- Day Shift: 6am - 2pm.
- Backshift: 2pm - 10pm rotational week by week.
Pay Rate: £12.58 per hour plus monthly attendance bonus if attained.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £26,166 - £27,366 per year
