Moughton Engineering are looking to recruit Manual Machinists – Miller, Turner or Dual Skilled (Part-Time Considered).
Applicants should have relevant experience and be reliable, motivated, and proactive, with a strong work ethic and a commitment to helping drive the business forward. The successful candidate will be capable of producing high-quality machined components in line with the company’s exacting standards.
Responsibilities:- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and work to tight tolerances.
- Dynamic and capable of meeting challenging deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Competent in all aspects of tool setting, including a sound understanding of cutting speeds and feeds.
- Strong experience using measurement and inspection equipment, including verniers, bore gauges, and micrometres.
- Ability to carry out deburring of machined components during production cycles while ensuring minimal disruption to output.
We operate in a fast-paced working environment, so this position requires a candidate who is both efficient and methodical in their approach.
