Skilled CNC Miller / Machinist with Programming and Operating Experience. Immediate start. The successful applicant will have relevant experience, a strong work ethic, and a proactive approach to problem‑solving. You will be expected to produce high‑quality machined components in line with the company’s standards.
Key responsibilities:
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, and working to tight tolerances.
- Working efficiently to meet challenging deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
- Setting tools confidently, with a good understanding of cutting speeds and feeds.
- Using inspection and measuring equipment such as verniers, bore gauges, and micrometres.
- Deburring machined components during production while minimising disruption to workflow.
This is a fast‑paced working environment, so the successful candidate must be both efficient and methodical. The role offers a basic 38‑hour week with an early finish on Fridays, overtime opportunities, 23 days’ annual leave plus bank holidays, birthday leave, a wellbeing day, Christmas Eve leave, a contributory pension scheme, life insurance, and occupational health screening.
