Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, working to tight tolerances.
  • Meet challenging deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Set tools, including selecting appropriate cutting speeds and feeds.
  • Use measurement/inspection equipment such as verniers, bore gauges, and micrometers.
  • Carry out deburring of machined components during production cycles, ensuring minimal disruption to production while remaining quick and methodical.

Benefits

Basic 38‑hour week (early finish on a Friday), £20.69 per hour, overtime available, 23 days annual holiday allowance (excluding Bank Holidays), birthday leave, wellbeing day, Christmas Eve, contributory pension scheme, life insurance and occupational health screening.
