Leading energy company requires a specialist commodities lawyer to support the trading team. 1/2 days per week will be required in Swindon during the first 3-6 months to build relationships.

Operating as a trusted business partner and a critical adviser to the business, you will help structure complex transactions, navigate new markets and influence strategic decisions from the outset.
The role will afford exposure across a diverse portfolio of commodities, jurisdictions and high-value commercial projects.
Key responsibilities Advising on complex commercial and trading matters across global commodities markets.
Drafting, negotiating and reviewing a wide range of commercial agreements and project documentation.
Supporting strategic projects from concept through to execution.
Providing legal advice on new products, jurisdictions and market entry opportunities.
Undertaking legal due diligence to support expansion into new markets and business areas.
Working directly with traders, originators and senior stakeholders to solve complex commercial challenges.
