The Opportunity
We are exclusively instructed on behalf of a leading law firm in Surrey which has a stellar reputation in the region and in the City. This top tier law firm is seeking to appoint an experienced Property Litigation Associate (2 years PQE) to join its established and highly regarded Real Estate Disputes team. This role offers the opportunity to work on a broad range of high-quality property litigation matters, advising a diverse client base including commercial landlords and tenants, developers, investors, property management companies, and private clients. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing complex matters, supporting business development initiatives, and contributing to the continued growth of the practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a varied caseload of property litigation matters with appropriate autonomy
- Advising on a wide range of disputes including:
- Commercial and residential landlord and tenant disputes
- Possession proceedings and forfeiture matters
- Dilapidations claims
- Easements, rights of way, and boundary disputes
- Lease renewals and termination matters
- Trespass, nuisance, and restrictive covenant issues
- Delivering commercially focused and pragmatic legal advice
- Supporting senior colleagues on complex and high-value disputes
- Developing and maintaining strong client relationships
- Contributing to business development, networking, and profile-raising activities
- Supervising junior team members where appropriate
