They are now looking to make a key hire with the appointment of an experienced Court of Protection Partner to take a lead role in driving what is already a successful, profitable CoP department.

The firm benefits from a strong and consistent throughput of work, drawn both from private clients and via personal injury cases and the Board see huge future potential.

The team advises those with mental incapacity on varied matters including dealing with applications for statutory Wills as well as managing financial affairs and the set up of personal care arrangements. The department provides Court of Protection deputyship support, managing the affairs for a number of individuals under registered EPAs and LPAs, preparing and submitting non-contentious COP applications and providing advice on care fee planning.

In this key role, you'll bring your commercial focus and leadership skills whilst demonstrating the passion and empathy to work with people who lack the capacity to make decisions for themselves.
