This leading firm based in Surrey has an exciting opening for an experienced private wealth disputes lawyer to join their Tier 1 ranked team.

Our client is financially robust, well respected and progressively minded. Seeking to bolster what is already a very well-regarded contentious trusts, probate and private client litigation offering, the firm is now looking for an experienced associate (2-4 yrs PQE) working closely with well-known Partners in the region.

The firm's successful PWD team advises clients on a broad range of matters including:

  • All types of inheritance disputes
  • Applications contesting the validity of wills
  • Applications to remove Executors
  • Claims for reasonable financial provision under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependents) Act 1975
  • Rectification of Wills and breach of trust claims
  • Contentious Court of Protection applications

With ideally a minimum of 2 years PQE (although applications are welcomed from lawyers with more or less experience than this), you'll be acting on behalf of an established client base of private individuals and their families, landed clients and national charities. An ACTAPS qualification would be welcomed although the firm will support anyone who wishes to achieve this qualification.

The firm can offer an excellent range of work, clear opportunities within the team to progress quickly, close support and a friendly, flexible and team-oriented culture.
