The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Partner or ambitious Senior Associate/Legal Director to step into a Partner & Head of Contentious Trusts & Probate role. This is a strategic hire, offering the chance to shape and grow the firm's contentious private client practice. You will lead a specialist team handling a broad range of high-value and complex disputes, while playing a key role in the wider leadership of the group.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the firm's Contentious Trusts & Probate practice
- Manage a varied caseload including will disputes, Inheritance Act claims, trust disputes, and estate administration conflicts
- Drive business development initiatives and grow a sustainable pipeline of work
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, intermediaries, and referrers
- Mentor, manage, and develop junior lawyers and contribute to team succession planning
- Collaborate with other departments to maximise cross-referral opportunities
- Contribute to the firm's strategic direction as part of the wider leadership team

- A qualified solicitor with significant experience in contentious trusts and probate matters
