Our client is a well-regarded firm with a Legal 500 ranked, specialist contentious probate team. Exclusively contentious probate roles are rare, and this one comes with the backing of a lead partner who is individually ranked by Legal 500.
This is a small, specialist team, which means you will be able to make a real impact from day one.
The Opportunity
- Run your own caseload while supporting colleagues on larger, higher-value matters
- Act for claimants and defendants in Inheritance Act claims and challenges to the validity of Wills
- Handle executor and administrator disputes, including removal applications, and wider estate administration disputes
- Advise on Court of Protection disputes and a range of trust disputes
- Work closely with colleagues across the contentious and non-contentious private client teams
About You
- 2+ years' experience in contentious trusts and probate and/or civil litigation
- Ideally some exposure to non-contentious private client work from training or early career (not essential)
- Genuine interest in building a career in this specialist area
