The Opportunity

We are exclusively instructed on behalf of a leading law firm in Surrey which has a stellar reputation in the region and in the City. This top tier law firm is seeking to appoint an experienced Property Litigation Associate (2+ years PQE) to join its established and highly regarded Real Estate Disputes team.

This role offers the opportunity to work on a broad range of high-quality property litigation matters, advising a diverse client base including commercial landlords and tenants, developers, investors, property management companies, and private clients.

The successful candidate will play a key role in managing complex matters, supporting business development initiatives, and contributing to the continued growth of the practice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing a varied caseload of property litigation matters with appropriate autonomy
  • Advising on a wide range of disputes including:
    • Commercial and residential landlord and tenant disputes
    • Possession proceedings and forfeiture matters
    • Dilapidations claims
    • Easements, rights of way, and boundary disputes
    • Lease renewals and termination matters
    • Trespass, nuisance, and restrictive covenant issues
  • Delivering commercially focused and pragmatic legal advice
  • Supporting senior colleagues on complex and high-value disputes
  • Developing and maintaining strong client relationships
  • Contributing to business development, networking, and profile-raising activities
  • Supervising junior team members where appropriate
