Our client is a major law firm with a successful and long-standing presence in Hampshire and on the South Coast.

They are now looking to bolster their Private Client team with the appointment of a Court of Protection Senior Associate.

As an experienced Court of Protection Lawyer, you will be advising those with mental incapacity, dealing with a wide variety of matters including dealing with applications for statutory Wills as well as managing financial affairs and set up of personal care arrangements. This role will include providing Court of Protection deputyship support, managing the affairs for a number of individuals under registered EPAs and LPAs, preparing and submitting non-contentious COP applications and providing advice on care fee planning.

The ideal candidate will be commercially focused whilst having the passion to work with people who lack capacity to make decisions for themselves. This is an excellent opportunity offering autonomy, flexibility and great scope for future career development, including a path to Director and Partner.
