About the business unit:
The Water Consultancy Division is Mott MacDonald’s centre of excellence for responding to water and wastewater challenges, offering fantastic opportunities to get involved in diverse and technically challenging work. The work we do is at the forefront of ensuring safe water supplies for future generations and protecting our environment. Our multi-disciplinary teams provide a variety of services throughout the full project life cycle, from advisory services and feasibility studies, through outline and detailed design, to construction support and site supervision.
Overview of the role:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Wastewater Network Modeller to join our team of innovative and motivated modellers, engineers and project managers, delivering projects for both UK Water Companies and international clients. The ideal candidate would be a motivated and experienced graduate or early career professional who wants to progress their career, with a desire to evolve within Mott MacDonald and to develop their technical skills with a view to achieving chartership with an appropriate body.

Essential:
- Qualified candidates should have a good working knowledge of InfoWorks ICM and GIS packages
- Relevant degree qualified
- Experience in the UK Water Sector
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Good communicator and able to enter into technical discussions in a logical and coherent fashion in both oral presentations and written reports.
Desirable:
- Experience working with FME, Power Bi and / or programming skills in languages such as Ruby, VBA or Python would be advantageous
