Overview of the role

The Talent Acquisition Business Partner is an integral member of the talent acquisition function, focused on advancing our strategic initiatives and reinforcing our position as an employer of choice.

This role is pivotal in business partnering, working closely with hiring stakeholders to deliver talent acquisition by proactively sourcing and engaging top candidates.

Additionally, you will both lead or support the development of structured interview assessments for specific roles across the business.

Primary duties

  • Be the focal point for specific Business Units/Divisions/Sectors, offering strategic insights, understanding talent landscapes, and driving recruitment strategies
  • Cultivate and nurture relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, employing strategic communication and collaboration techniques to ensure alignment on talent acquisition goals to enhance partnership
  • Lead the company's most intricate recruitment initiatives, navigating complex hiring challenges with expertise and ensuring seamless execution on high-priority talent acquisition needs
  • Collaborate closely with hiring managers and leadership to devise and refine assessment methodologies, ensuring we consistently attract top talent that elevates our business capabilities
  • Be visible in your local MM office (following business approach to flexible working)

  • Lead and initiate recruitment kick-off meetings with hiring managers to ensure alignment on hiring goals, understanding specific requisitions, and setting clear milestones
  • Leverage Linked In and other platforms for talent mapping, comprehending industry trends, and gaining insights on competitive positioning
  • Employ advanced sourcing strategies to identify and connect with top talent in the industry
  • Proactively manage and nurture a pipeline of prospective candidates for anticipated and emergent roles
  • Be responsible for the creation and presentation of job offers, ensuring they resonate with candidate aspirations and company standards
  • Maintain and regularly update the applicant tracking system, ensuring data accuracy and real-time tracking of recruitment metrics
  • Serve as an ambassador for Mott Mac Donald during stakeholder meetings, presenting the value we offer as an employer and our commitment to hire top talent
  • Actively participate in resource calls, providing updates on talent acquisition efforts, challenges, and potential solutions
  • Attend and actively engage in training and development sessions, both as a participant and a contributor
  • Lead and support various talent acquisition projects, ensuring they align with our broader talent strategy and bring measurable improvements to our recruitment processes

Essential

  • Demonstrated ability to source candidates from a variety of channels
  • Experience influencing business stakeholders to deliver positive outcomes
  • Experience with business stakeholders to develop and run interview and selection processes
  • Proven experience in a talent acquisition role with significant responsibility and stakeholder interaction
  • Proficiency in using various sourcing channels, tools like Linked In for recruitment insights, and applicant tracking systems
  • Able to travel into the office on a regular basis as per company position on flexible working
  • Prior experience in a business partnering role within the recruitment domain
  • Ability to work effectively across multiple sectors in fast-paced environments and adapt to evolving talent needs
