About The Energy unit: the Nuclear, Defence and Civil division delivers services to clients globally across sectors including nuclear power, renewable generation and transmission & distribution. We provide integrated engineering and project management across the project lifecycle, from concept to decommissioning or life extension, helping to deliver the energy transition globally.
The Energy Unit is looking to recruit a Principal Safety Case Engineer to join our team. The role will cover nuclear power generation, the naval nuclear programme and decommissioning. Candidate Specification
- Degree qualified in a Science, Technology or Engineering discipline
- Experience in the nuclear or defence industries (applicants from other high-hazard industries will be considered)
- Chartered Engineer or working towards
- Ability to demonstrate successful delivery of nuclear safety deliverables and strategy on complex projects
- Willing to develop and mentor more junior members of staff
