About the role
Our placements last for 12 months, working across both design and construction teams, to offer the broadest exposure to the industry, working on real-world projects that make a difference in communities. It\\\โs a great chance to get involved with live projects while gaining experience relevant to your degree.
What you\\\โll do
- Collaborate with experienced mechanical engineers both on-site and in the office, gaining practical experience in mechanical systems and project implementation.
- Engage in a variety of water and wastewater projects, from design and planning to installation and maintenance, ensuring systems operate efficiently and effectively.
- Enhance your skills in mechanical design, system analysis, and problem-solving, preparing you for a successful career in mechanical engineering.
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines and promote a safe working environment on all projects.

- You must be studying a full-time undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

Mott MacDonald Bentley offers fully integrated design and build services to its clients, combining the contracting expertise of JN Bentley and the design specialisms of Mott MacDonald.
This role is employed by Mott MacDonald but will involve working across the joint venture business, both with Mott MacDonald and JN Bentley colleagues.
