The Energy unit delivers services to clients globally across several sectors including hydropower, nuclear, waste, renewable generation and transmission & distribution networks. If so, our Nuclear: Defence and Civil division are recruiting a Senior Process Engineer to join our fast-growing team. The role is technically focussed and includes all stages of front end engineering from feasibility to detailed design. You’ll be involved in multi-discipline projects and be responsible for liaising with clients to develop the best solutions to meet their needs. You’ll produce a range of design and technical documentation, visit client sites as necessary, and pursue and promote further opportunities with the client.

Essential

  • You’ll be responsible for providing quality assurance of others work by surveillance and checking and therefore chartered status is preferred, although demonstration of progress and equivalent experience will be considered.
  • Chartered status with the IChemE or other relevant professional body.
  • Technical chemical/process engineering experience.
  • Demonstrable experience in process engineering design.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt and work on multiple projects.
  • Client-facing experience as well as a commercial awareness of FEED projects.
  • Able to actively seek input from other engineers, specialists, facility and project team members to improve understanding and deliver fit for purpose solutions.
