Works will include major upgrades to treatment assets, new and enhanced networks, and resilience schemes that will benefit communities across the country.

As a Process Engineer you will contribute to projects that significantly impact our environment and communities. Working primarily in the UK water market, MMB provides the feasibility, design, construction, and commissioning services needed to keep water flowing and wastewater treated. You’ll work on projects that make a real difference to our environment and our communities by enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of water and wastewater treatment systems.

The role of a Process Engineer includes:

  • Liaising with the supply chain to evaluate and integrate the latest technologies, supporting the Design team in developing 3D models and solutions
  • Managing key outputs such as process calculations, flow/load data summaries, process flow diagrams, P&IDs, data sheets, HAZID/HAZOP studies, and process input for commissioning plans
  • Ensuring all technical work meets standards and specifications, with engineering documentation updated and circulated to maintain technical excellence
  • Leading the interfaces and integration of the process design with that of other disciplines
  • Working closely and collaboratively with the commercial, operational and construction teams to develop efficient, practical and safe solutions throughout design stages, construction and beyond

What you’ll need:

  • Degree in Chemical or Process Engineering, or related field
  • Working towards Chartership IEng / CEng with a relevant Engineering Institution
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders
  • Methodical approach to problem solving
  • A valid driving licence and willingness to travel to sites across your operational region
