The Energy unit delivers services across hydropower, nuclear, waste, renewable generation, and transmission & distribution, providing integrated engineering and project management throughout the project lifecycle.

We are looking for a highly motivated Digital Visualisation Specialist within our Nuclear, Defence and Civil division to support a major UK programme. The role offers the chance to become a key part of the team and contribute to successful project delivery through immersive technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Support implementation of Digital Rehearsal across the programme
  • Support effective communication to ensure relevant teams contribute to and understand the Digital Rehearsal strategy
  • Assist with design reviews, safety reviews, and stakeholder sessions using immersive environments
  • Enable immersive collaboration across digital and engineering teams
  • Support virtual reality hardware adoption, training, and documentation

Candidate specification

Essential

  • Proven experience in a BIM or planning role within the energy or construction sector
  • Several years of experience on large-scale or high-value projects
  • Familiarity with 4D construction sequencing
  • Understanding of virtual reality (VR) and immersive environments
  • Willingness to learn and grow in digital technologies
  • Strong collaboration skills with clients, engineers, planners, contractors, and operators
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality work with attention to detail

It is beneficial if you have any of the following technical knowledge/experience:

  • Experience with BIM software such as Autodesk Revit
  • Experience with planning software such as Primavera P6 or Bentley SYNCHRO
  • Exposure to rendering/animation software such as Unity or Unreal Engine
  • Ability to influence key individuals to deliver the project to plan
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills
  • Confidence presenting to external stakeholder bodies
  • Commitment to continuous professional development
