The Energy Transition team within our Energy unit is looking for a Project Manager to lead technical advisory projects in a growing portfolio, supporting clients in the UK and across Europe as part of the energy transition. In addition to project delivery, you will help improve project management processes, driving delivery excellence and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities And Duties
- Deliver project scope on time, to quality and cost targets
- Build and manage strong relationships with senior client representatives and internal stakeholders
- Establish effective communication across the project delivery team
- Lead problem solving and decision making
- Control commercial aspects of the project under contract arrangements
- Manage risk to the business and to the client
- Work effectively on several projects concurrently to meet tight deadlines
Candidate Specification
Essential
- Relevant engineering or management degree or proven project management experience in the energy sector
- Previous experience in electrical infrastructure projects (Owner’s Engineer, Lender’s Engineer, etc.)
- Excellent communication skills
- Understanding of commercial aspects of project work including contract terms
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment
- Collaborative skills and ability to work cross‑functionally across cultures
Desirable
- Experience within the Energy Advisory sector
- Experience across all stages of the project lifecycle
- Relevant PM qualifications (PMQ, PMP, Prince2)
