About The Role

Mott MacDonald is a global engineering, management, and development consultancy. As a key member of our Ports, Coastal and Offshore (PCO) team you will contribute to technical outcomes on a variety of maritime projects including container, ro‑ro and energy terminals across the UK and internationally.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading multi‑disciplinary design and engineering work – from feasibility studies and FEED to detailed design, D&B, construction documentation and site supervision.
  • Coordinating project delivery activities and overseeing risk, quality and procurement activities.
  • Providing technical input to new business development initiatives to grow the PCO account.
  • Mentoring junior team members and supporting their professional development.
  • Travel overseas for project assignments as required.

  • Strong initiative, capable of working independently and efficiently.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Experience delivering ports projects using innovative and digitally‑driven techniques.

This role is available as part‑time, job share or full‑time.
