About the business unit: The Energy unit delivers services to clients globally across sectors including hydropower, nuclear, waste, renewable generation and transmission & distribution networks. We provide integrated engineering and project management services across the project lifecycle – from concept and design to construction and operations, to decommissioning or repowering and life extension. We help deliver the energy transition globally with our clients.
Role overview: Our Nuclear, Defence and Civil division is growing and we’re looking for a talented MEP BIM Technician to join our team. You’ll work on a diverse portfolio of projects, from defence and nuclear to energy and major infrastructure where your skills will make a real impact.
Key responsibilities and duties:
- Create and develop 3D models using Revit, collaborating effectively across project teams
- Produce AutoCAD drawings and detailed designs through all project stages
- Work closely with the BIM team to ensure 3D information containers meet agreed standards, methods, and procedures
- Prepare schedules, specifications, and reports to support project delivery
- Conduct site surveys and respond to technical queries for MEP projects
- Support quality checks of drawings before technical review by Discipline Leads
Candidate specification
Essential:
- Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD
- Knowledge of MEP service coordination and construction techniques
- Understanding of building regulations
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Organised, detail-oriented, and proactive problem solver
Desirable:
- Experience in Nuclear
