What You’ll Be Doing
- Design delivery: Assist in the creation of high‑quality conceptual, detailed, and technical designs for landscape and urban spaces.
- Multidisciplinary collaboration: Support integrated teams across water, transport, energy, and environmental sectors.
- Technical outputs: Produce drawings, presentation materials, specifications, schedules, and photomontages.
- Site and environmental work: Undertake site surveys and contribute to environmental assessments and improvement schemes.
- Digital design: Provide AutoCAD, Revit, and graphic support to enhance project delivery.
- Quality and innovation: Deliver work to high standards in line with our Quality Management Procedures.
- Professional development: Engage with Mott MacDonald’s Early Careers Professionals Network and attend development events.
Candidate Specification

To be eligible for this opportunity, you will have less than 12 months’ relevant experience (excluding placements) and have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree (obtained no earlier than 2024) or expected to achieve one, in one of the following degree disciplines:
- Landscape Design
- Landscape Architecture
