Sectors
Transmission & DistributionYou will play a key role in designing and delivering the infrastructure that powers the UK's transition to Net Zero. Your work will ensure clean energy reaches homes, businesses, and even international markets through interconnectors to Europe. You will be directly involved in the design of critical infrastructure that supports the transmission of low‑carbon energy across the UK. Depending on the project stage, your work will span FEED and Detailed Design phases, Civil works design—including platforms (earthworks, embankments, retaining walls), access roads (temporary and permanent), and drainage systems (SuDS, Infodrainage), Structural design, covering foundations, beams, columns, and connections, feasibility studies and optioneering exercises to identify optimal solutions and site visits to assess conditions and support construction phases.
NuclearPlay a vital role in delivering safe, sustainable, carbon‑free power. Our teams support nuclear power projects and safe decommissioning efforts across the UK. Candidate Specification
All our opportunities require a relevant bachelor’s degree as a minimum requirement. Some of our opportunities will also require a master’s degree—this will be reflected in the list of opportunities available in our application form. To be eligible for this opportunity, you will have less than 12 months’ relevant experience (excluding placements) and have a degree (obtained no earlier than 2024) or expected to achieve one of the following degree disciplines:
- Civil Engineering
- Structural Engineering
