What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll work alongside experienced consultants and technical specialists on projects that influence infrastructure policy, investment, and performance. Depending on your interests and background, you may be involved in:

Asset Management

  • Supporting clients in improving how they plan, deliver, and operate asset portfolios.
  • Assessing utility performance and developing strategies to enhance efficiency, resilience, and environmental protection.
  • Improving asset data collection and analysis to inform sustainable investment decisions.
  • Contributing to feasibility studies, water resource strategies, and business case development.
  • Supporting regulatory advisory services and helping clients meet performance targets.
  • Advising on carbon reduction, net zero strategies, and systems thinking approaches.
  • Engaging in project finance advisory and investment appraisal for major infrastructure programmes.

Candidate Specification

To be eligible for this opportunity, you will haveless than 12 months’ relevant experience(excluding placements) and have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree (obtainedno earlier than 2024) or expected to achieve one, in one of the following degree disciplines:

  • Geography
  • Economics
  • Mathematics or
  • You have an MSc in a relevant topic including but not limited to asset management, water policy, water resources, water engineering, systems, data science, climate change, or environmental engineering
