Overview

As Process Optimiser for Yorkshire, you shape the process functions across project lifecycles, from concept to commissioning. You work on operating, maintaining and optimising wastewater assets to meet regulatory and safety standards. You will perform sampling, laboratory analyses and provide technical input to ensure timely delivery and compliance. This role combines hands-on site work with cross‑functional collaboration to drive safe, efficient asset performance. A strong impact is delivering compliant, optimised processes that support AMP8 projects and Yorkshire Water frameworks.

Responsibilities

  • Operate, maintain and optimise newly built wastewater assets ensuring compliance and safety procedures
  • Conduct sampling at multiple wastewater sites to support asset introduction and optimisation
  • Carry out laboratory analyses on samples using compliant methodologies
  • Identify and troubleshoot changes/risks in plant condition or operations affecting commissioning and compliance
  • Make process-critical decisions to protect compliance
  • Engage with site operators and internal project teams to provide technical input and support timely delivery of projects
