Mott MacDonald Bentley is a fully integrated design and build business combining the design expertise of Mott MacDonald with the contracting experience of JN Bentley to deliver award‑winning projects. As a Digital Delivery Manager on our Severn Trent Water framework, you will work on projects that make a real difference to our environment and communities – enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of water and wastewater treatment systems.
Core Responsibilities
- Play a pivotal role in the management and maintenance of Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) templates, implementing and monitoring document‑review templates, and providing guidance on BIM and ACC tools to design, delivery, and site teams.
- Participate in project initiation meetings to define BIM strategies aligned with project objectives and liaise with clients to align BIM and asset‑management strategies, offering guidance on best practices.
- Oversee and refine the Model Build Strategy for designated projects, while conducting audits of the model‑federation process across all initiatives within the framework.
Other Duties Will Include
- Promote consistent use of ACC tools (issues, markups, RFIs) for information sharing and collaboration across project teams.
- Facilitate model coordination and design collaboration, including subcontractor integration.
- Stay updated on digital delivery advancements and incorporate new features into project workflows.
Modelling
- Accountable for all BIM authoring templates, including Revit and Civil 3D templates, from the outset.
- Provide guidance to team members to ensure the selection of suitable modelling software for each project.
- Promote the standardisation of modelling procedures.
- Facilitate compliance with CDM2015 requirements and the implementation of ISO 19650‑6 within the BIM models.
- Provide mentoring and training on modelling using various tools to relevant colleagues.
- Confirm the project team’s clash‑detection scope and implement the process using Autodesk Construction Cloud: Model Coordination, or Navisworks when required.
Intelligent P&IDs
- Establish and maintain a high‑quality Plant3D template to minimise project rework and ensure consistency.
- Accountable for the upkeep of the template as project requirements evolve.
- Arrange Plant3D training to BIM and engineering teams, while ensuring correct application of P&ID methodologies within the overall project framework.
Project Delivery
- Contribute to BIM and Information Management audits on projects, ensuring compliance with MMB and client modelling and information‑management standards.
- Develop and maintain project‑specific BIM documentation (BEPs, Information Standards, SMPs).
- Ensure compliance with ISO 19650 and other relevant standards, recommending improvements where applicable.
- Manage subcontractor engagement on BIM deliverables, including compliance with naming conventions and modelling standards.
- Conduct audits to ensure adherence to information‑management and modelling requirements.
Qualifications
- Recognised qualification in Computer‑aided design (CAD), BIM or related field.
- Strong knowledge of BIM standards (ISO 19650 series) and digital delivery processes.
- Proficiency in Autodesk tools (ACC, Revit, Civil 3D, Plant3D, Navisworks).
- Experience in model coordination, clash detection and CDE management.
- Ability to develop and maintain BIM documentation and templates.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
- Leadership experience in mentoring and developing digital delivery teams.
