Principal Process Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee the design, planning and execution of process engineering on projects.
• Provide design support and guidance for schemes, ensuring all designs are fit for purpose and meet current legislation and standards.
• Collaborate closely with commercial, operational and construction teams to develop efficient, practical and safe solutions throughout design, construction and beyond.
• Positively engage with the client, managing relationships and adopting a one‑team approach to support them in achieving their aims.
• Manage the interfaces and integration of the process design with other disciplines and produce documentation.
• Act as technical checker on project documents and conduct technical reviews across projects.
• Identify opportunities to improve delivery processes, including the development and implementation of standard designs, sustainable solutions and digital tools.
• Undertake site reviews to ensure buildability of solutions and integration within existing systems.
• Support the development of the process engineering team, coach and mentor engineers, and identify the right resources for each project.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Degree in Process Engineering or a related field.
• Chartered Engineer (CEng) with a relevant Engineering Institution.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Experience delivering high‑quality outputs in accordance with design, quality and safety standards.
• Excellent communication skills for interaction with team members and stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel to sites across the operational region.
