Responsibilities
- Prepare and review electrical engineering designs for water treatment equipment, including Motor Control Centres, LV distribution systems, cabling, instrumentation, industrial networks, PLCs and SCADA.
- Produce and review technical specifications and procurement schedules, and assess supplier tender bids and technical submissions.
- Supervise and mentor graduates and junior engineers, assisting in their development.
- Apply and contribute to design standards, with a good knowledge of Client and WIMES standards.
- Engage positively with clients, building relationships and supporting client objectives.
Qualifications
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Chartered or incorporated member of a professional institution (e.g., ICE, IMechE) or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience delivering high‑quality outputs in accordance with design, quality and safety standards.
- Effective communication skills with team members and stakeholders.
- Methodical approach to problem solving.
- Valid driving licence and willingness to travel to sites across the operational region.
