As a Graduate Mechanical Engineer, you will work as part of the Mechanical Team to provide support in the delivery of multi-disciplined projects. You will be based in the office working on the Mechanical design aspects, in an operational office or out on-site supporting delivery and commissioning depending on the phase of the project. If working on site, you will be working alongside a commissioning engineer. A supportive team will be behind you, and you’ll be given every opportunity to progress and develop your skills and get involved in the work carried out.
What You’ll Do
- Work within a team to deliver engineering projects from initial concept, through detailed design, procurement and construction to client hand back
- Undertake engineering calculation and utilise digital techniques to produce the design
- Liaise with Sub-Contractors & Suppliers
- Approve Drawings and Designs of Suppliers
- Oversee the activity of Sub-Contractors & Suppliers on Site
- Assist with maintaining our world class safety culture of our critical designs, health & safety documentation, O&M manuals, and commissioning plans.
What You’ll Need
- Graduated or due to graduate with a degree in Mechanical Engineering (BEng) or a post graduate qualification (MSc)
- Valid driving licence
- Confidence, motivation, plus the ability to handle multiple tasks and problem-solve
- Strong organisational, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
