Overview
In this role you help safeguard Motorway’s systems, users and cloud environments as part of a hands-on Security team. You’ll own routine security investigations, collaborate with technical teams, and contribute to incident response and vulnerability management. The work blends security operations with cloud security to protect a fast-growing, technology-led platform. Responsibilities
- Monitor, triage and investigate security alerts and incidents across SIEM, EDR, CrowdStrike and other platforms
- Investigate suspicious endpoint, email, identity and cloud activity and support incident response activities
- Analyze security logs and indicators of compromise to identify threats
- Support vulnerability management, remediation tracking and security improvement activities
- Maintain investigation records, security tickets, runbooks and operational documentation
- Collaborate with Security, IT, Engineering and Cloud teams to resolve security issues
Key requirements
- 1-3 years of experience in Cyber Security or SOC environments
- Hands-on with security technologies (SIEM, EDR/XDR, vulnerability management, cloud security tools)
- Understanding of alert triage, incident investigation and cyber threats
- Networking fundamentals; experience with Windows/Linux and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP)
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills; clear documentation and communication
- Ability to manage routine investigations independently with escalation when needed
