We are seeking a highly skilled Hydraulic Assembly Technician to join our Heritage team mainly working at our Grove headquarters with some requirements to work from the Witney site as needed. This role is critical in supporting the build, service, and sign-off of hydraulic assemblies used across Heritage race, test, PR, and customer vehicles and rigs. You will play a key role in ensuring the highest standards of performance, safety, and reliability are consistently achieved.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assembly & Service: Build, strip, and service WF1 and customer hydraulic components, including PAS, BBW, dampers, gearbox actuation systems, valve blocks, and master cylinders.
  • Quality & Compliance: Ensure all assemblies meet Engineering and Manufacturing standards, maintaining exceptional levels of accuracy, reliability, and competitiveness.
  • Inspection & Evaluation: Critically assess components during build and disassembly, identifying faults and reporting issues promptly.
  • Testing & Sign-off: Operate pass-off and test rigs as required, ensuring all products meet required specifications before release.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Heritage Car Assembly & Planning Manager and support part coordination processes, including build and service pick lists.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify and elevate quality or assembly issues and contribute to ongoing process improvements.
  • Documentation: Accurately maintain all build and component records within relevant systems.
  • Workplace Standards: Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment in line with best practices.

Qualifications Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience assembling complex hydraulic components within F1, motorsport, or aviation.
  • Strong computer literacy; experience with Atlas is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with Teamcenter PLM and CAD systems is desirable.
  • Understanding of component lifing systems.
  • Experience with ERP and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) is advantageous.
