To assemble, service and sign-off assemblies required for the running of race, test, PR and customer cars and rigs.
Main Duties
- Build, strip and service WF1 and customer suspension, brake, steering, Power Unit Integration & Drive-train components to a consistent high standard of competitiveness, safety and reliability, ensuring all assemblies conform to current Engineering and Manufacturing policies and procedures.
- Carrying out duties as instructed by the Component Assembly Team leader as per the daily work list.
- Critically evaluate all components during assembly and disassembly, ensuring their integrity and reporting all faults.
- Operate pass-off and test rigs as required.
- Highlight any assembly/quality issues to the Team leader or relevant design authority.
- Ensure all assemblies are built to deadlines.
- Ensure that all build and component information is recorded and maintained as required in relevant systems.
- Ensure the Component Assembly work environment and equipment is maintained to the highest standards of tidiness, presentation and safety.

Qualifications and Experience Level
- Experience building complex components; component assembly/sub-assembly experience in F1, F2 or Sports Car Racing.
- Ideal candidate would be comfortable using Teamcenter PLM and CAD systems.
- Familiarity with Lifing systems.
- Experience with ERP & Manufacturing execution systems an advantage.
