In this role you will work within a group of highly creative and skilled design engineers to deliver high-quality surface geometry models to aid the aerodynamic development of the team’s race car. Team members are encouraged to challenge established thinking and share their ideas to create an environment where everyone can contribute to our shared success.
- Deliver high-quality surface geometry models for CFD, Wind Tunnel and full-size release
- Work closely with Aerodynamicists to understand the definition and scope of assigned surfaces, including modeling and construction approach
- Liaise with model designers to ensure efficient implementation of assigned aerodynamic projects
- Support with the release of aero surface geometry to the full-size car design office
- Liaise with full-size car designers to create high-quality surface geometry for full-size release
- Support the implementation of standard design practices

What do you need to bring to the team?
- A degree in a relevant discipline (Engineering / Design / Motorsport) or equivalent
- Relevant experience in a similar role, ideally within the motorsport industry
- Excellent experience in with 3D CAD software (preferably 3DExperience/CATIA)
- Strong knowledge and understanding of surface quality, model layout and robustness, as well as a good level of understanding of surfacing and parametric modeling techniques
- Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills
- Able to perform duties in a timely manner with minimal errors
- Clear and concise communication, verbally and written, including with key stakeholders and directors
- Strong levels of IT skills including MS Office, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Positively contribute to an open and inclusive culture
